Chris MacMillan Candidate for Brockton Mayor

15 Torrey St, Brockton, MA 02301

Chris has been a lifelong resident of Brockton. After graduating from Brockton High School in 1982, he followed in his fathers footsteps and became a Sheet-Metal Journeyman for Local 17 Boston, completing 5 years of apprenticeship schooling. In 1994, Chris decided for a career change which had more stability for his family. For almost 20 years, Chris has worked for Veolia Water of North America as a licensed Massachusetts wastewater operator.

Chris has been active in the community for many years. He was the previous P.A.C. President of the Angelo School for seven years and served 19 years as a Coach/Board member for Brocktons North Little league.

Wishing to continue contributing to our city, Chris ran successfully for the open Councilor seat in Ward 7. Since January 2005, Chris has held Ward meetings inviting residents to meet on a one on one setting with their City Councilor. This has allowed an open door policy with the councilor giving his constituents the ability and/or availability to share any city information also allowing them to voice their concerns.

Ward 7 has seen great growth in businesses since Chris became councilor.
