Hancock Elementary School provides educational opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade six. It provides a literacy program that includes guided reading and literature instruction. The school also offers extended-day care, after-school, English Language Learners, special education and Title I programs. It has a parent advisory council that sponsors a range of events, including spaghetti suppers, family fun days and reading nights. The school campus includes a cafeteria, auditorium, library, music and art rooms, computer laboratory, full-court gymnasium and classrooms. It provides instruction in art, music, and health and physical education. Located in Brockton, Mass., Hancock Elementary School is a part of Brockton Public Schools.
