I would NOT recommend Freedom Gymnastics for birthday parties! I had my daughter's 3rd birthday party there just yesterday. Here are my pros & cons…

CONS: 1.) No AC in the birthday party rooms.
2.) They have a so-called "party planner" yeah-ok…so my husband & I came 45mins prior to the party to set things up. We have a 3-year-old & a 10-month-old. My husband had to go run out to pick-up the cake, pizzas, etc.. so I was left to decorate the party room by myself with my two kids with me! The party planner only put the tables & chairs out. She did NOT help me with anything else! So my 10-month-old was still on the dirty floor while I was doing everything!
3.) They do a class-style tumbles class. My daughter, the birthday child was excited would not sit still, I think it got on the teachers nerves. Sorry, but she is 3yrs. and the teacher/owner (whoever) need to be a little more laid-back about it because it wasn't a class, it was a birthday party.
4.) After the gym time, everyone went upstairs to eat & to enjoy our balloon artist we hired. At some point the teacher of class came up & reminded me "don't forget you need to pay the rest of your balance" - really?! Are you kidding me?! The party is not over yet! No kidding I owe you but I will pay after everyone leaves - when the party is over!
5.) The owner or whoever had to stayed up stairs with my party in the hallway, complaining to my mom about "b.s." that has nothing to do with the party. Why is this lady upstairs? Aren't you suppose to be down stairs behind the counter?
6.) The owner or whoever had to give a ten-minute time, pretty much saying, "get everyone out in 10-minutes."
7.) The owner or whoever told my mom to take the empty pizza boxes to the big garbage outside!

PROS: 1.) They were available 1-week prior to the party.
2.) They gave my daughter a birthday sash.

NOT WORTH IT WHAT WE PAID THIS PLACE!

So I signed my daughter up for gymnastics because my girlfriend raved about Freedom Gymnastics, so I gave it try. Well terrible mistake my daughter attended 4 weeksweeks total between end if summer and beginning of fall courses, never learned how to do flips or proper techniques. This whole fall session every class I watched and all they did was stretch and run around. The last week class they finally did the balance beams and that was a diaster as two girls almost fell off and there was only one teacher mointering 8 girls on three different beams. Now legally last time I checked no teacher should be allowed to persue without a second person also know as spotter. Was not happy about that. Also all the staff is rude, my daughter disliked her teacher-whom by the way looked like she was 16 and shouldn't be teaching 5-7year olds. The lady who runs the front desk is a joke and acts as if she's a queen, totally disrespectful. So I removed my daughter from Freedom and asked for my money back which is a descent amount back and was told they do not do refunds and its posted on the paper work, the only paperwork I signed was a medical wavier in case of emergency and no where does it state no refund, and on the website it states no refund for MISSED classes, nothing about unjoining the course. Totally unprofessional and over price for not teaching proper gymnastics. If I wanted to pay $300 dollars a month for one day a week for my child to run around and play tag, I'd take her to Chuckie Cheese where the money is worth it. End of Rant!
