National Postal Mail Handlers Union is a progressive labor union representing more than 50,000 mail handler craft members in postal facilities throughout the United States. The primary purpose of the Union is to negotiate and enforce a contract with the U.S. Postal Service that establishes wages, cost-of-living adjustments, pay increases, working conditions, and fringe benefits for workers. The Union also protects workers rights by representing on various issues that include discipline, violations of seniority, discrimination, management abuse, and addresses work-place concerns, such as safety, health, and the impact of technological change. It is affiliated with the Laborers' International Union of North America and the Postal Employees Relief Fund. National Postal Mail Handlers Union is located in Bronx, N.Y.
