Dr. David Soto received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Biomedical Engineering before attending medical school at State University of New York - Downstate Medical Center. In 2003, Dr. Soto began his internship in preliminary internal medicine at Staten Island University Hospital. He then went on to become a resident at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Michigan State University – Flint Area Medical Education, and Temple University Medical Center, where he was a nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology resident. He completed his fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center as an interventional radiology fellow. After finishing his fellowship, Dr. Soto worked at a number of medical centers in the Northern California area, before moving to New Jersey in 2016, where he worked at the Philadelphia Vascular Institute and then Advanced Interventional and Vascular Services. Dr. Soto is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American College of Radiology, Radiologic Society of North America, American Medical Association, and National Hispanic Medical Association. His is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish as well as a Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar at State University of New York – Downstate Medical Center. During his time at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Soto was a Taekwondo instructor and a founding member of the Latin dance performance group. He enjoys skiing, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing and bouldering, tennis, and scuba diving.
