Elissa Yozawitz, M.D. joined Montefiore Medical Center in 2011. She serves as a pediatric epileptologist as well as a neonatal neurologist at Weiler Hospital. She is also as assistant professor of clinical neurology and pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Yozawitz maintains an outpatient practice at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore where she sees children presenting with a wide range of neurological problems.She received her medical degree from Upstate Medical University in 2005. Dr. Yozawitz's residency training in pediatrics was at Long Island Jewish Medical Center; her residency training in pediatric neurology was at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center where she additionally trained with a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology - EEG track.
