My son attends this school and from the moment he has been enrolled, my son has made TREMENDOUS progress! Everyone here is very friendly and caring about the children. He receives related Speech, Music and Occupational Therapy services and the individual teachers who work with my son are pleasant, communicative and always willing to support whatever efforts or new abilities I am trying to teach my son. While the school building is a little older, this does not take away from the attention and care that these teachers, paraprofessionals, school aides and administrator(s) give to my boy. I was so nervous to send him initially because prior to this, my son had very little socialization skills as he was never sent to a Daycare center to pick such skills and had limited interactions with other children his age.
Not only does LifeSkills preschool (East Tremont) make it their priority to contact me consistently through flyers, phone calls, and email- they always make every effort to get parents and families involved in the school functions and celebrations. I feel very blessed that my child has gotten an opportunity to attend this school and I am grateful to all of the staff and faculty who have been fantastic with helping my son achieve some great milestones.
