I was just at this location this morning. I was parking here because it was close to the court house. I used the SpotHero app to locate & pay to park using the app. I drive into the location and informed the attendant that I used the SpotHero app. He asked to see my phone, which I handed to him. He looked at the price I paid using the SpotHero app which was $10 for 2 hours & informed me to pay an additional $2.00 in cash. I said why would I pay an additional $2.00 in cash & I already paid using the SpotHero app. I called SpotHero, a representative asked to speak with the attendant. I handed the attendant the phone they spoke & he begin to argue with the representative on the phone about $2.00. Stating that I wouldn’t get a better price anywhere in the area & either I pay or leave. The SpotHero representative was very nice considering the situation.

I left this location & the SpotHero representative found me another garage a block over for the same price. I informed the representative that they should really look into canceling the contract/agreement that they have with this location. Asking a customer for cash funds after you already paid through the app is misappropriation of funds/stealing. If they do that to ever car that comes into the location they can make an additional $100.00 or more a day for being dishonest.

SpotHero, revoke the contract/agreement you have with them. They should never ask a customer for additional funds.
