Precision Movers destroyed all of my brand new furniture (that cost around 6,000.00 that I'm still paying on), I am missing pieces to my furniture, have a warped custom table cover and 3 complete boxes of my personal items are missing as well as furniture pieces. All of my glasses and plates were broken. Every box was completely ripped open, rummaged through, completely smashed in or completely ripped open down the sides of the boxes (so bad that the movers had to re-tape the boxes back together horizontally and vertically). I even found one of the movers back belts in my box. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I feel that the service that I received was poor, unsatisfactory, stressful and unnerving. I was harassed, lied to, manipulated, and was never given any restitution. If you do not want to endure any of these things, please do not use this company even as a last resort, you will be sorry!

WORST MOVE OF MY LIFE!

EITHER SELL YOUR THINGS OR GET ON ANTIDEPRESSANTS NOW!

CAUTION: VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED

THE BACKGROUND: Moved from NC to CO to start my new life. Let me preface this by saying It was imperative my things arrive on the agreed upon date, as I am a nurse and need my belongings

Turns out… Too bad for me

• Moving from NC to CO… My things were put in storage in NY for over 1 week

• During this time, the moving contractors and dispatch could not get a hold of them

• At this point, I was already in CO and was expecting my things to arrive in a matter of days

• Mistake #1. Don’t have any expectations of this company other than a guarantee that your things will be 100% destroyed

• Fast forward 3 weeks later… they pick a day to arrive

• I am working and cannot be there. They tell me if I’m not there, they will charge me $1,000’s MORE for the inconvenience and for the need to hold my things…. Because I have clearly been holding them up

• My things arrive… finally! But wait… something isn’t right… OH YA! EVERYTHING IS DESTROYED! And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING!

• AND! The boxes are drenched! Soaked! And Ripped to shreds!

• The contents were all damp and destroyed!

• My Pier 1 Bar stools look like they were a mountain lion’s chew toy

• My Great grandmother’s ivory couch had water stains on it

• My brass bed that my parent’s had specially made when they got married was broken! Not just broken, but to the point where we had to send it out! It was an estimated $300 repair

• My baby furniture had indentations in the wood. Irreparable…

Thankfully these things are all replaceable and hold no sentimental value

• Oh Did I forget to mention they lost 1 box, 1 bin, and 1 suitcase filled with items?

By the time this was all said and done and I was in a ball, on my kitchen floor, rocking back and forth, I remembered that my Dad and my sister are both lawyers! *LIGHTBULB*

• My Dad’s Law Office wrote their legal department a letter, I filed a claim, and guess what?!

• THEY OFFERED ME $40? CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? A WHOLE $40?! I WAS SO ELATED! I COULDN’T BELIEVE THEIR GENEROUS OFFER!

• We wrote back… told them we do not accept… and they offered me their final offer… $47!

• HOLY COW! I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT! A WHOLE $7 MORE!

• They decided to pay for things based on weight only… despite it all…. (KARMA)

• Speaking of Karma…. The manager, Sam, is a convict! He has been in prison for this and per the internet, keeps changing the name of the company!

• I decided that writing about my experience and hoping others don’t have the same was more important than all that money….

IN CONCLUSION: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

wanted cash upon delivery,When they arrive they grab your money right out of you hand. I found this to be very rude. broken furniture, broken boxes, broken promises, very bad handling of peoples stuff, I don't recommend this company to know one

Easy and fast pickup in the mo...

Easy and fast pickup in the morning, knowledgeable staff, coffee available in the morning. Returning the vehicle was just as painless. I also called to change my reservation several times without any issue, customer service was helpful.

few days ago i moved from Clifton to Brooklyn and it was very hard decision to choose moving company and i chose by price so i am happy of choice - Precision Moving moved me and the quality was at high level

PLEASE, PLEASE, Please do not use this company if you value your possessions. They are the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. They overcharge for everything and then rob you blind! Every piece of furniture was damaged and most broken (est $6200.00 in damages just for furniture), not to mention that several items were missing. They stole my $500.00 KitchenAid mixer as well as other expensive items. They underpay the men so I guess they feel your items are for their taking. I had sealed boxes that when opened had empty soda and juice containers in them? They certainly weren't mine because I did not pack such items. So, they ransacked my belongings and took what they wanted. Must have pulled the tags off and claimed them as their own. There is no other explaination for this robbery. On top of that, you can never get ahold of anyone that is in authority so you never get a straight answer. How does such a company stay in business? Word of advice, go to uhaul, rent a truck and pay some men to help you!

They lost my stuff and were very rude..I think some of these reviews are scams,stuff was damaged and they told me the stuff they lost was at the storage and said will deliver in a few week.A month went bye and i called and they said they never found it.DO NOT USE LOOK AT RIPOFFREPORT.COM.

Our initial experience with th...

Our initial experience with this company was pleasant. Jeff was kind and reassuring and promised us that based on our pick up date (May 26th, in Rhode Island) that our truck would arrive BEFORE us in Louisiana. He even had us arrange for our property manager to let the movers in to our apartment since we would only be arriving there on the 3rd of June. The movers in fact arrived right on schedule on the 26th and the day went smoothly aside from extra time needed to be taken for them to unload someone else's delivery off the truck, then ours onto it, then theirs back on. The PROMISED arrival date of our belongings was June 1st. As mentioned previously we were made to contact the property manager and give her written consent to allow Precision to deliver our belongings on the 1st since we wouldn't be arriving until the 3rd. We called Precision when we were around 20 minutes from arriving at our new home to be sure our belongings would in fact be there to meet us. We were at that point informed that the truck was in New York and had not left yet. This was 8 days after the pick up day, and 2 days after the promised delivery date. The informed the truck would be leaving either that night (a Friday) or the following Monday (the 5th), neither of which happened. From that point forward we called Precision every day to ask where our belongings were and when we would be receiving them. The lied to us each time, telling us they would be leaving within a few days from the conversation. The began to be very rude with us, telling us "these things take time", and actually hanging up on US. Each time we asked why our delivery was taking so long their response was that they were having a hard time finding a driver to drive such a long distance. This coming from a "Long Distance Moving Company". During this entire hellish ordeal we slept on an air mattress, causing us aches and pains, had one suitcase of clothes each and that is it. We had to purchase completely unnecessary items that we already owned and were on the truck because of how long it took to arrive. We had to eat off of paper plates and with plastic silverware, and sit on patio furniture that we purchased upon arrival in Louisiana. FINALLY our items arrived just 5 days ago. 30. THIRTY days after they were picked up from my home in Rhode Island, and what do you know they were damaged, broken and STOLEN. Nearly all of the wooden furniture is cracked, scratched or has severe gouges taken out of them. Half of our plates and glasses are broken, some of which are sentimental and cannot be replaced. Entire boxes are missing, some of which were graduation gifts that were never even opened. They dropped a box of glasses off of the back of the truck, and then brought it into the house as if nothing happened. And the icing on the cake, they actually opened a box, stole a PlayStation 3 and controllers out of it and delivered it untaped as if nothing was wrong with it. This has been the most miserable experience of my entire life. Its been stressful, and heartbreaking and I hope that this company can be brought to justice and no one else ever has to suffer this type of cruel treatment.
