Established in 1959, The Riverdale Mental Health Association is a comprehensive mental health agency. It provides a range of treatment services for people of all ages who suffer from several problems The agency s clinic treatment program includes evaluation for adults, children and adolescents, parent counseling and medication therapies for individuals, groups and families. The Riverdale Mental Health Association provides rehabilitative, psychotherapy, physical health, information and referral services. It offers early intervention, parent and teacher consulting and problem assessment services for children. The agency s programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services. It is supported by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and the New York State Division for youth and Community Development.
