The other "The Video Beat!" has been around snce 1984. We have a very narrow focus on 1950s & 1960s Youth Culture and Rock 'n' Roll related video material. We purchased the domain name thevideobeat.com in 2001. Another company called Video Beat was operating in Chicago. They went out of business and we bought their domain videobeat.com when it became available.



We've never been to The Video Beat in the Bronx but we wish them much success in their business. It's not easy these days. Please support your local businesses, they are part of your community.

This store has been around since the beginning of VHS and continues to thrive. The family has been apart of the neighborhood even going back to the 30s. Lots of history and friends that they take care of here. May they continue to help those looking for enjoyment in video. Anyone looking online please do not compare the other "The Video Beat" to this wonderful store. In fact the other may be in violation of using the same name in the same industry.
