Amy L. Turitz, MD is the co-director of the Preterm Birth Prevention Center and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She specializes in the care of high-risk pregnancies, including women with poor obstetric histories, medical complications, and fetal anomalies. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Maternal-Fetal Medicine.Dr. Turitz has expertise in the care of high-risk patients, prenatal ultrasound, and diagnostic genetic testing procedures such as chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis. In addition, she has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics ranging from antenatal surveillance, preterm birth, fetal growth restriction, and medical and obstetric complications of pregnancy.
