They chose to be out-of-network with State of Georgia Health Benefit Plan, but I did not get to choose their services. Patient moved in middle of the night; no authorization given.



Additionally, I fault local hospital/ community leaders for allowing this exploitation. Business office says, "No Adjustments". So what if bill is double the "maximum allowable expense" authorized by state insurance program. Sorry, but reminds me of a mafia-style shakedown. Have to wonder who's getting a pay-off??
