The Public Schools of Brookline provides education to pre-school, through twelfth grade students in eight elementary schools and one comprehensive high school. In addition to traditional academic programs, the Public Schools of Brookline offers continuing education courses for adults, summer school, enrichment programs and numerous athletic programs. The school district is actively engaged in collaborative partnerships with area universities, including Lesley University, Simmons College, Northeastern University and Wheelock College. The student body is a racial mix of White, Asian, Black and Hispanic. More than a third of students do not have English as their first language. The Public Schools of Brookline is headquartered in Brookline, Mass.
