Rude Service, they don't listen to what you want on your own cake, the yellow cake taste stale and had a weird odor, i wanted to throw up and i threw half the cake out bacause no one at my party ate it, waste of money and puts shame to bakery's everwhere.

Amazing products, and outstanding customer service. The currant rolls are to die for. This family owned business has been around for over 50 years and the family is lovely, from what I see when making my purchases. There are fairly long lines sometime, but it is to be expected when dealing with freshly baked items. I highly recommend this bakery for everything, especially if you have a family and make sandwiches quite often, the bread is phenomenal, fresh, and cannot be compared to grocery store bread. Good luck Allan's Bakery, let's make it another wonderful 50 years!

A dear friend from Barbados introduced me to this bakery. I no longer live in NYC, but the thought of their "Choice" bread is so-o pleasing to my senses that I am online looking for the number to the bakery with the hope that I can get someone to mail me some stuff!



Lines are long sometimes, but bread is always good, service is fast!

The cakes are so delicious I get it for every birthday party or no party you can custom order. The only sad this that they make character cakes. The butter bread is to die for, the pasteries are also good.

Definite "MUST" when you are in Brooklyn. The currant slices and coconut bread are the best!

THEY HAVE THE BEST CURRANT ROLL AND COCONUT ROLL. THE LINE ARE LONG BUT THE WAIT IS WORTH IT. LOVE IT
