In Belkadeli you can find almost everything you have been longing for since you’ve moved from Russia – buckwheat, farmer’s cheese, fermented dairy (kefir), dumplings, pancakes, caviar etc. Some products can seem a little bit expensive, but after all just give a thought of what distance they have to make. The point is that at Belkadeli you can find 100% genuine Russian products. Or Ukranian. Besides it’s not every day you will go there. It’s just to treat yourself with the Russian delis. As for the service – it’s the only thing that’s not typically Russian here ☺ it’s very customer-friendly. Five stars Belka!

Once having tasted my kids can’t live without dumplings! Either way I’m destined to come to shop at Belka’s. At times I buy cold cuts at Belka’s, they are tasty and very different from what you can find in an ordinary grocery store. There’s a restaurant at Belkadeli where you can try Russian food if you have never tried it before otherwise on occasion there is testing in the store – for instance one day I stumbled into a testing and that’s how I discovered Belka’s stuffed buns –actually I don’t remember the correct name in Russian- but you will definitely figure them out in the store. So these stuffed buns are DELICIOUS! An absolute must try if you get to Belkadeli.

Belkadeli offers a wide range of Russian products of high quality in all departments: meat, fish, cheese, dairy products, cold cuts, caviar and other specialities, coffee, tea, original jams, dried or candied fruit, pastries – a lot of tasty things together in one place. Especially to mention is the beautiful presentation of products: there is the room to move, the shelves are very elegantly arranged. It is a pleasure to walk around this beautiful store, it’s a feast for the eyes. The service is excellent and the food is very good. The value for money is quite reasonable. That’s is a store I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Belkadeli offers Russian products of good quality, always fresh and at an attractive price. As a matter of fact I’m happy that thanks to my daughter I have found this grocery store in Brooklyn. It’s close to my place and it offers really full range of Russian products. There is a premium selection of food. A paradise for those who like to cook. There are some products that can be found only here. The staff is very nice. One day I hesitated between two brands so the saleslady took time to advise me and make sure that I could find everything I needed. The prices are low compared to what I have seen for similar products elsewhere.

Belkadeli is one of the places that I come to really often. And as a Russian I can assure you that this store is 100% authentic. Don’t hesitate to come if you want to surprise your Russian friends. What I really like about Belkadeli is that there is true Russian food sold by the true Russians. Besides there’s a lovely restaurant with Russian and Ukrainian delis. Here you will find everything, a very rich culinary world. Pastries (vatrooshkas) are to die for! The dessert I always loved at home in Russia. I really feel welcome here. Staff remembers me and it feels very special every time I come.

I was looking for a Russian grocery store quite for a while. The one that will remind me of my childhood. Having moved to the States at the age of 6 I still remember the pastries of my grandma and frankly pastries of Belka really remind me of those. That is the true Russian food. Often you can find here products that can’t be found elsewhere. In fact there are not only Russian specialties but the Ukrainian as well. The décor of the store is fascinating – perhaps it’s so appealing to me because I was born in Russia. Indeed all these korovkas on the shelves (Russian sweets) make me feel back into childhood.

I’m a fan of cooking and I’m fond of different national cuisines. Just recently I have discovered the Russian cuisine. In fact it’s a tangling of different cuisines of Asia and Europe: Ukraine, Hungary etc. That’s why a Russian grocery store is full of exotic products, meat and fish of great quality. Prices for some products can seem a bit too high but after all that’s the price you pay for authenticity. Besides there’s caviar in the store so what it can be but expensive. Along the store there’s a restaurant at Belkadeli where I have tried some Russian food for inspiration and after that I cooked my own borsch at home having bought the necessary ingredients at Belkadeli.

Belkadeli is a grocery store specializing on Russian products. The main reason why I come along now and then is reasonable prices for sturgeon caviar. The quality of what I have bought so far is above any expectations. Pastries are not bad as well. I bet you will be tempted to try even if you have come to buy something else. I can recommend you my favorite - an apple pie. All in all the variety, the choice, the quality of products are OK. It’s a beautiful place to find original and very good food. The thing I like about it is an ability to discover varieties from other part of the world – in fact another culinary planet - just round the corner.

Belkadeli in Brooklyn specializes in Russian products but not only. The choice of products is so wide that it’s hard to resist the temptation to fill your basket. Here you can find some really interesting products like dumplings, green coffee, pickled cucumbers, delicious vegetable dishes like eggplant caviar and caviar of peppers with herbs, numerous meat or fish filled pastries and who knows what else typically Russian. Many of products are homemade. You can also ask to try some products. Works especially well with the exotic ones. All in all a very good value for money. Don’t miss the deal if you are around in the area.

I dropped by accidentally and in fact I liked this grocery store. here is a wide range of products from different countries of eastern Europe. Prices seem quite reasonable. There is a good service and a welcoming staff. The best thing I liked straight away were the pastries, omg, they are really worth trying! the store is neat and tidy, the products are ordered nicely on the shelves. I recommend you to visit Belkadeli even if you aren't a great fan of Russia - just to have a look how it is. Visiting this store is like traveling to another country. And if you are looking for Russian food in particular I'm sure it's the right place to go!
