The Francis of Paola Early Learning Center provides preschool classes for students. It offers instruction in mobility training, parent training and counseling, and speech and occupational therapy. The center also provides education for alternative communication voice devices. It is governed by the Department of Educational Services, which is a part of AHRC New York City, formerly known as the New York State Association for Retarded Children, which is a family-governed organization that provides services for more than 11,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
