HITN-TV, also known as Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network, was established in 1983 as a private, nonprofit organization to create a network of noncommercial telecommunications facilities to advance the educational, social, cultural, and economic development of the Hispanic community. The television network broadcasts a variety of news and entertainment programs. It airs a range of shows, such as Prohibido Olvidar, Al Norte de Mexico, Easy ESL and Ponte en Forma. HITN-TV also publishes a newsletter that features information on the Hispanic community, as well as the company. It is available on Comcast, AT&T and Time Warner Cable.
