Dr. Jamie Freyle was born and raised in Bogota-Colombia. He attended Mechina at Ner Israel Rabbinical college in Baltimore, completed High School at the Colegio Colombo Hebreo. He is a graduate of the Universidad Del Rosario School of Medicine. After attaining his medical degree, he was a research fellow in urology and completed his internship and urology residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. He performed his pediatric urology fellowship at Schneider's Children’s Hospital (Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children Medical Center) and joined Pediatric Urology Associates upon completion in 2003. His training included laparoscopy and Robotic assisted laparoscopic procedures in addition to open surgeries. He is board certified in Urology and Pediatric Urology, He is a member of the American Urological Association, Society of Pediatric Urology, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and AMA. Dr. Freyle has authored numerous research papers in the field. He is trilingual in Spanish, English and Hebrew. Dr Freyle sees patients in our Brooklyn office and at Beth Israel Israel Medical Center in Manhattan.
