In August, 2015 my wife and I placed an order for linens with Jimmy, the Owner of June Florist. We decided the next day to cancel our order and found out the hard and painful way that we lost our deposit. At first, Jimmy ensured us upon cancelling that we would receive a full refund check from his linen vendor. After 3 months of calling and being told repeatedly that the refund check is in the mail so to speak, we never received it.
More recently, after several calls and a couple visits to the florist shop Jimmy is now saying that the linen company kept all of our deposit due to a restock fee. Feeling that this story did not sound right I insisted that Jimmy provide me with the vendor’s contact details so they can explain their refund policy. I contacted the well-known linen company based out of Chicago which was very professional in dealing with my complaint. The linen company researched their orders and found no record of my order for linens from June Florist.
After explaining the situation to the linen company they took upon themselves to contact Jimmy by phone and email to try and resolve my complaint but they did not get anywhere either. Jimmy now hangs up on me when I call to request my refund. My wife and I were misled, lied to, and cheated out of our money by June Florist.

June florist came highly recommended and now after using them for my special event i know why!!! my centerpieces were gorgeous- jimmy worked with me through out the process and accommodated my changes, additions, and my anxiety. up until the day of the party he had his driver drive my my house the morning of my party to show me the exact color of the orchids he was going to use. perfect!!!!
every thing was perfect- will definitely use him again... if we weren't having a destination wedding jimmy would definitely be doing my wedding!!! thank you again jimmy and june florist...

Our experience with Jimmy was very good until his team made huge mistakes at our wedding. We paid in full before the date which if a big mistake if you are paying cash. Basically, forgot to make 2 large pieces for our escort table and cocktail hour. The reception centerpieces (18 tables) were done very sloppy and missing all the flowers we discussed prior to wedding. He also had very cheap LED candles instead of the real candles we hand selected. We were very disappointed and afterward Jimmy recognized his mistakes and agreed to refund us a significant amount. But that was 5 months ago. As other reviewers said, he will never return your calls and gives you every excuse in the book hoping you will forget about it. I am now taking him to court. If you decide to go with him I highly recommend paying with credit and documenting everything. He is very unorganized. Luckily my wife wrote down everything he promised and we had him sign it before paying him. That will make the court's decision easier. His prices seem very good but when he doesnt deliver, he pretends like you do not matter anymore. Seems like a nice guy but his true colors show when it matters!

I could not explain how Jimmy and the wonderful staff over at June Florist accommodated me and made the most beautiful and the most elegant centerpieces for my bridal shower that everyone is still talking about. I can’t express how hard working the whole team at June Florist is and will do anything you ask of them. I can not wait for my wedding day to see what they have in store for me. I know they will once again blow we away. JUNE FLORIST IS THE BEST. I will never use another florist again.

Delivered the wrong type of flowers of the wrong color 5 hours late after 3 follow-up phone calls from me and zero effort from the manager to reach us despite two contact phone #'s we've left with him at the time of the order. When I called back, the manager said the owner (Jimmy I believe) will call me back to resolve the issue, but I've never heard back (the manager probably never even mentioned this issue to him).
After using this shop for over 6yrs (I'm typically a very patient, loyal customer), I will never set my foot in there again. The level of service has dramatically deteriorated in the last 2yrs. The manager there (who takes phone orders and is in charge of most transactions) just started to charge more than the agreed price by slapping on extra flowers and trying to charge more just to see if that will fly while becoming evermore arrogant and useless.
The guys in the back who actually put flowers together are usually pleasant and arrange flowers pretty well, but they can't do their jobs properly with such an incompetent manager, who can't get the order right, get it delivered on-time or provide an adequate level of customer service.

Provided by YP.comToday was my daughters first communion party and June lorist outdid themselves!!!! We walked into the hall and the room was awash with the beautiful pink and white and green floral arraingments ! They were stunning, I received so many wonderful compliments on how beautiful the flowers were and my daughter was absolutely thrilled at how beautiful they came out. And her communion bouquet was perfect, the beautiful pink and white roses, in white satin with the rhinestones wrapped around them and the stones in the center of the roses were the perfect compliment to her dress and my daughters face lit up when she saw it! Thank you Jimmy, you and your staff did an amazing job ! You helped make my daughters special day one that she, I and all our guests will always remember!!!

Provided by YP.comdont use..this place chooses what THEY want to deliver..my girlfriend and i ordered a plant (bamboo luck plant) to her 73 year old mother who recieved a fruit basket..??..it gets worse,when we called to ask what happened,the owner told us that she didnt like the plant we sent, so this 73 year old who only speaks italian climbed into their van and picked a fruit basket (that some how had the card we sent on it) needless to say she did NOT do any of this..when we called Teleflora, they told us this was not the first complaint about getting a different order than was originally placed..it is almost comical hearing this story told by the owner.. so if you dont mind recieving something totally different than ordered and lied to about what took place, then this florist is for you..

Provided by YP.comI live in NJ and was having flowers sent in Brooklyn so needless to say i was not sure where to go. I called 2 shops and was not pleased with the service, so on the 3rd try i spoke to Jimmy at Junes flowers. The service was impecable. I told Jimmy how important these flowers were and he put me at ease and was very understanding. When i recieved the phone call that they had been delivered EXACTLY when he said they would be (BTW) i was told and i quote " they are the MOST beautiful flowers she had ever seen" If anyone needs flowers delivered in this area there is no where esle to go. my husband and I got married on April 2nd 2011 and after dealing with Jimmy for so many years i couldn't think of getting our flowers for our wedding anywhere else but June Florist.
They did an amazing job , starting at my house with all the decorations, the church, my bride maids, the grooms man and the best part was at the hall my center pieces were huge with all beautiful flowers ...some people took them home and they needed to be carried by 2 people thats how big they were ...
i would def raccomend people to go there ...5 stars to June Florist

Provided by YP.comI received my flowers for Mother's Day at 8:00 PM. They were wilted and they were not what my son ordered. They look like they will not last the week. I am very disappointed in this delivery. If I had to tell my best friend about this place, I would say, not to order from them. My son ordered these days ago, and look how long I waited for them to come. Just terrible!
