Walking down the rough streets of Bedford-Stuyvesant you come across an oasis in the desert. Mami's Beauty Salon takes care of their customers in various aspects. the beauticians are friendly and are willing to communicare regardless of the language barrior; the employees are mostly spanish speaking and the clientel English speaking. specifically, my Beautician gives me a kiss on the cheek and helps me better understand her desire for my hair as well as creat a bond by reminiscing on old events. i love the difference in atmosphere from the street corner and decorative salon. i am a faithful client.
