My wife and I got married in October 2010. We hired the New York Film Factory to do our wedding video and wedding album. The owner's name is Gennadiy Tranis. He was actually recommended by a few friends of ours who also got married in 2010.



We made a huge mistake of paying the New York Film Factory in full (close to $3,000) BEFORE we received our video or album.



We made numerous attempts to contact Gennadiy in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. We finally got through to him in December 2013. He said he needed to transfer our content from an external drive and to call him in January, 2014.



Today's date is March 20th, 2014. Gennadiy Tranis of the New York Film Factory does not answer his phone and does not respond to voicemails or texts. We have not received anything from him to-date. Our friends (who originally recommended the New York Film Factory) have not received their videos or albums either.



After giving him many chances to remedy his mistakes, to no avail, we fear that we'll never have our wedding video, wedding album, or a full/partial refund.



We are reporting this business as a TOTAL SCAM so that other potential clients do not get scammed by Gennadiy Tranis in the future. DO NOT hire the New York Film Factory!
