I'm shocked this place got a 3+5 star rating! I would normally feel guilty giving a restaurant a 1 star rating, but given that this restaurant came highly recommended from some popular tv show that rates restaurants across the country I have to say they did not measure up to my expectations.



The server was not overly friendly and seemed a bit nervous as she wouldn't even look us in the eyes. We ordered the Filé Gumb, which came out looking more like a soup dish and the Salmon was very bland. I'm pretty sure they just sprinkled some salt and pepper over the top and called it a day! The red beets, which came with the Salmon, were the best thing on both of our plates. I guess next time I should just order a plate of beets?



For the prices too I definitely expected more.
