Our entire line of luxurious and unique organic body and skin care products are featured here, but you'll also find handmade ceramics, cards, essential oils, terrariums, and so many other beautiful objects. Our store was named the Best Gift Shop in NYC by Village Voice (2012). skinnyskinny was named one of the Best Natural Beauty Stores in NYC (2013). History Established in 2006. skinnyskinny was founded by Clara Williams in 2006. skinnyskinny grew out of a simple experiment of Clara's to make skin care products for members of her family who had psoriasis. After getting excellent feedback on these products, Clara decided to pursue this course further and to use only Organic, All-Natural ingredients and to be as environmentally responsible with the manufacturing and packaging as possible. Clara's artistic and academic background made her a natural at creating products that were both beautifully crafted and incredibly effective: "I fell completely in love with the whole process of combining chemistry with craft; equal parts science and art."
