Hired Stern to rep me in landlord/tenant court. Tenant owed me $8,000 in back rent and $4,000 in damages to the apt. Tenant moved out before eviction. Tenant goes to Sterns office and gets SURRENDER AGREEMENT STATING THAT TENANT IS NOT LIABLE FOR BACK RENT OR DAMAGES TO APT. Agreement made without my knowledge or consent. I brought a law suite against tenant in Small Claims Court for $5,000 but I loss. Tenant presented SURRENDER AGREEMENT to judge who dismissed my case. JUDGE did not accept that Stern made this agreement with out my knowledge or input. Stern gave tenant the best deal but I paid the legal fees. Stern was to represent me not to assume power of attorney. The WORST ATTORNEY to represent struggling landlords seeking relief from scumbag tenants.
