Horrible! VACATE NOTICE BY NYC POSTED ON DOOR dated 10/20/2016
Your experience:
We were to check in after midnight Thursday Oct. 20th .coming from JFK (So early Friday morn ) Got there at 8am instead to the VACATE sign and no entrance permitred subject to arrest by NYC on door dated 10/20/16 Called owner to notify of issue agreed to refund $$ as we now had to find a hotel and pay again. Now 7 days later his funds clear and he only refunded part and knows of the issue and still not fixed but he still has this place for rent under vacate order!! He has the nerve to call me an extortionist and theif cuz I want a full refund for a place we could not stay. DO NOT STAY OR PAY. I wish I could post a picture here of the notice but will post elsewhere as he lists on other sites as well under a vacate order just to take people's $$$ VRBO needs to do something. I paid a service fee and damage protection to them for a condemed place!! Im sure he will reply calling me names, his texts to me are horrible as he admits the place has issues and supposedly being fixed and under vacate order. Those will be sent to VRBO along with vacate order picture!!! I waited a week to post to see if he honored his refund promise and he did NOT!
