Brought in our 2014 Porsche Cayman S to have some scratches and paint damage fixed. The new paint has dust in it, paint runs, and orange peel from poor painting technique. Additionally, the Porsche emblems on the back are crooked and completely misaligned. Instead of removing and replacing the clear bra on the door edge, they painted over it. The store manager/co-owner Matt apologized for the job. We arrived to see that he had not repainted the car at all, and confirmed that the car was not repainted by reviewing dashcam footage. He referred us to another shop, claiming that they had previously repaired his work. This new shop wanted $7k to undo the damage, plus the cost to fix our original issue. The owner admitted he didn't actually know how to paint the car. Matt agreed to pay $2500. Today we received a call from the manager's angry brother who said he wasn't going to pay to fix the damage done to the car and that we'd have to sue him if we wanted the money to fix the damage.

Brought in our family 2014 Porsche Cayman S to have some scratches and damage on the rear quarter panel fixed. A few days later, we received a call to come pick the car up with the battery dead because they left the key in the ignition when specifically told not to do so. The paint job (which you can see in the pictures attached to this review) has dust particles in it, paint runs, and orange peel from poor painting technique. Additionally, the Porsche emblems on the back are crooked and completely misaligned with the contour of the car. Instead of removing and replacing the clear bra on the door edge, they painted over it. The bumper was painted on the car to save time and money instead of removing it (standard practice). The store manager/co-owner Matt apologized for the job and asked if he could have the car a little longer to "make things right". A week later, we received a call back from Matt saying the car was ready yet again; however, he warned us on the phone at we were NOT going to be happy with his second attempt to paint the car. We arrived to see that he had not repainted the car at all, and confirmed that the car was not repainted by reviewing dashcam footage in the car. He told us that he too was disappointed with the work and that he would not charge us for further devaluing our vehicle (thanks!). He referred us to another shop, claiming that they had previously repaired his work (are you serious?) and they could properly paint the car. This new shop inspected the car and could not believe the damage Car Nix did to our vehicle and wanted $7k to undo the damage, plus the cost to fix our original issue. We took it to 2 other shops and they also told us they need $3900 to $4500+ to undo the damage done by Car Nix. We contacted Car Nix and shared our findings and asked them to help us with the costs. We went to the shop and he offered to pay the entire cost to repair the car, and he admitted he only took the job because he needed the money but didn't actually know how to paint the car. Initially they agreed to $2500, and asked if we could wait till the end of the week for payment. We agreed, and at the end of the week we called and asked if we could pick up the money and were told they were not going to give us the money as promised. Twenty minutes later we received a call from the manager's angry brother claiming to be the shop's "investor". He said that because we never paid for the car to be poorly painted in the first place, he wasn't going to pay to fix the damage done to the car and that we'd have to sue him if we wanted the money to fix the damage. He added that if we call the shop ever again, he will hang up the phone on us.

Jack does a great job.And his wife Joyce is a very pleasant person. I have been there several times with my car, and the results were always perfect. And I realize body work, and paint is expensive. Get estimates from other body shops first and then take you car to Car-Nix, you will be using their services, I guarantee it. If you want professional work at an affordable price please check them out.Estimates are always free.
