The Division of Forestry works to manage and protect people and forest resources from wildlife fire. Headquartered in Tallahassee, Fla., the division provides a range of fire management services, including the construction of fire breaks. The Division of Forestry maintains a team of more 1,200 employees. It publishes various online articles on forestry-related issues. The division runs various forestry and wildlife programs to assist landowners in the implementation of forestry and wildlife practices.
