I visited this auto parts store to purchase a battery for my chevy HHR. I had heard about the bad service at this location but figured it was just hear say and decided to stop in to purchase a battery. I noticed on there sign when I walked in that they install car batteries for free. I told them the kind of carl I had and told them I needed the battery for it and that I would like it installed (after waiting for someone to help me for 10 minutes). When the man was getting ready to ring me up he told me that the computer told him it would take 45 minutes to install it and that he couldn't do it for me (my battery is in the back under the spare tire). I pointed out the sign that didn't depict any installation limitations and he got very rude with me. I told him never mind and left. I went down the street to Oreillys auto parts and they were very friendly, slightly cheaper, and were able to install my battery in less than 10 minutes. I will never return to Advance auto parts.

My husband broke down after getting to school (starter broke) and I called Advance Auto Parts and talked to Mike. He even had, in stock, the starter for my 87 Wagoneer! Not only that but he was very nice and held the part until my husband could get over there. I charged the oart over the phone and my husband also told me how nice Mike was when he got there. I just want to say, "Great job! Thanks, Advance Auto Parts!"
