Please avoid this store and choose one of the many other tire shops in this area. I purchased 4 new rims and tires from this store with a total cost of $1900.00. Upon leaving the store I immediately noticed issues with the vehicle at high speeds (55+). A couple days later I took my truck back in, and after having it for another day, they told me that some of the “sticky” balance weights they use had fallen off – they assured me that the replacements would stay on, and that the vehicle was riding much better.



Upon leaving the store it was clear that nothing had changed. A couple days later I took my vehicle back in and indicated that it still did not feel safe to drive at high speeds. After having it for another day they told me that they moved the balance weights from the inside of the rims to the outside, which should make it ride better – it didn’t, and the aesthetics of the weights now visible on new rims was horrible.



I brought my truck in again and asked their certified technicians “what’s next”. They provided me with a quote for $650.00 to have the pitman arm and idler arm replaced, and they indicated that if that didn’t fix my STEERING problem, then I would need to look at my tie rods, ball joints, etc. next until the issue was resolved…so I ended up replacing my idler arm, pitman arm, inner tie rods, outer tie rods, link stabilizers, upper ball joints and lower ball joints (I was able to replace all this myself for nearly the same amount they quoted me for just the pitman and idler arms). When the work was done, I took my vehicle back into Big O and gave them another $80 to have an alignment done (this was needed after replacing the steering components their certified technician recommended). After all this work was done, there was still no change in the shaking of the vehicle at high speeds.



After thousands of dollars of new rims, tires, and parts, not to mention my time and having to drive an unsafe vehicle for weeks while diagnosing and attempting to remediate this issue, I had no choice but to lose faith in Big O. I took my truck to the Cadillac dealership and after a quick 45 minute road force test that cost $75, they had quickly determined that 3 of the 4 NEW tires that Big O put on my vehicle failed the test miserably!!!



I took the road force test report to Big O tires, at which time they replaced the 3 faulty tires. I spoke with the manager (again), this time to summarize the 2 months of B.S. I had to go through just to find out that 75% of the tires Big O put on my vehicle were defective. I expressed that some financial reimbursement was the least the store could do to show their very patient customer some loyalty; I asked to be reimbursed for the $75 road force test I had to pay for to diagnose THEIR faulty tires, and for the $80 I had to pay for a second alignment after THEIR certified technician told me I needed new STEERING components to fix the problem that THEIR defective tires created.



After handing a written report with the above stated to the store manager at Big O, I was told that they would “Get back to me.” – they never have…



Although they were always courteous, I would recommend NOT using this store on account that they don’t have the professional equipment necessary to diagnose their own defective products, and if you want to do business with a store that values your time and money, this is definitely NOT the place. Every time I left the store they assured me the problem was fixed, but it was clear that they never even tested the condition of the vehicle after all their failed attempts to fix the issue. I have never been in a goat rodeo like this one at Big O…EPIC FAIL!
