Have you ever gone to a tournament in any sport where one team crushed the competition because they were clearly playing down a division or a level with the sole purpose of cruising through and winning the 1st place trophy? That is Cheer Central. If that is what you want, this gym is for you. The downside is that no matter how hard your daughter works to make the varsity team, she may be forced to play JV so they can compete at the national level. If you get your daughter hooked on cheer at this gym, it is often a question of “when” and “not if” so be prepared for the emotional trauma. This is not what I consider an environment where a child can “grow and be challenged” as it says in the brochure.
