ALL of the bats are truly crafted using the finest cuts and the most advanced composites to BE found. Much of the composites that are used in making davy jones bats are aerospace grade. And NOT some substandard foreign version. Great pride is taken in the making of each and every BAT. Regardless of what model. And whom they MAY BE made for. The same attention is given to a BAT made for a 10 year OLD. That would BE given to a major leaguer’s BAT. THERE are some stages where machinery is used. However. With some models. There are upwards of 26 distinct stages of making each and every BAT. Many of the stages are done by hand because the machinery just does NOT exist. Or it is TOO costly to implement. Most if NOT ALL composite work has to BE applied by hand. Only the highest quality composites. Resins. And wood pieces are used. Various composites are used for certain woods. Since woods have varying characteristics. There is NO ONE composite FITS-ALL for every type of hardwood used. We only DO limited production on ANY given model. That is to ensure against moisture problems such AS warping. And to keep space available.
