GET A SECOND AND THIRD OPINION AND YOU WILL PROBABLY DECIDE TO NOT STAY AT DEBORAH HEART AND LUNG CENTER FOR OPEN HEART SURGERY...THERE ARE MUCH BETTER PLACES TO ENTRUST YOUR SURVIVAL AND CORONARY CARE...I AM QUITE ANGRY WITH THIS FACILITY SINCE MY MOTHER DIED ON THE OPERATING ROOM TABLE...THE NEW JERSEY SENIOR HEALTH INVESTIGATORS DISCOVERED MANY ERRORS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND HER DEATH WAS DEEMED PREMATURE AND UNNECESSARY...IT IS ANOTHER MATTER TO FIND A LITTLE PEACE AND JUSTICE IN A STATE THAT DOES NOT PLACE AN ADEQUATE MONETARY VALUE ON THE LIFE OF A 75 YEAR OLD WOMAN...I APPROACHED SEVERAL PRESTIGIOUS LAW FIRMS WITH AN IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THEM OF AS MUCH AS $75,000.00 AND WAS REJECTED BECAUSE OF THE LAWS IN NEW JERSEY INVOLVING INFORMED CONSENT VIOLATIONS...I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ...also, the head surgeon admitted to my aunt and me after the surgery that he knew two weeks before the operation that my Mother would die if he attempted the mitral valve replacement...She died during the operation...We were never given this information at any time prior to the surgery...this surgeon denied what he said during his deposition and is now " practicing" somewhere in Texas...I also located a nurse who had worked extensively with this surgeon and had relinquished her position at Deborah DHLC because she knew that this surgeon was "experimenting" on older patients...you really cannot make these things up...
