Located in Brownsville, Pa., Brownsville Area High School operates math, science, English, foreign language, social studies and physical education departments. The school also offers classes in computer science, music, and fine and practical arts. Its foreign language department provides various French and Spanish courses. The school is a part of the Brownsville Area School District and educates more than 500 students in grades nine through 12. Brownsville Area High School has a counseling department that helps students plan their schedules based on career plans, gain admission to institutions of higher education, and monitor class progress. The school s athletic teams include soccer, volleyball, cross county, softball, baseball, football, golf, hockey, tennis and basketball.
