Lincoln Park School, formerly known as Brownsville Gateway School, was established in 1981. It is an alternative school that focuses on the development of career and technical skills. The school s curriculum includes math, English, science, social studies and business trades. Lincoln Park School provides membership opportunities in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and the Business Professionals of America (BPA). It offers day care, counseling and nursing services. In addition, the school maintains a library and organizes a variety of events and programs. Lincoln Park School is a part of the Brownsville Independent School District. The district governs several elementary, middle and high schools.
