The Glynn County Fire Department is responsible for protecting the lives and property of approximately 70,000 residents throughout Glynn County, Ga. It specializes in providing emergency medical, fire suppression, education and prevention services. The department has a staff of trained and certified professionals who offer fire protection and safety tips to the general public. The Glynn County Fire Department provides transportation, rescue, cause and origin investigation, hazardous materials response, code review and enforcement, and utility and nonfire emergency services. The department offers the construction, maintenance and inspection of building facilities. It designs and conducts fire safety training programs. Founded in 1952, the Glynn County Fire Department is located in Brunswick, Ga.
