Provided by YP.comI enrolled my son in this school at the age of 4. The purpose was to give him a boost of self confidence, and the basics of self defense before entering the public school system. My son is now 10, still a student, and the school has given him so much more than what I thought I was paying for when I enrolled him. There's more than learning kicks and punches going on at PAK'S. The school has been instrumental in him developing life skills such as self discipline, strong work ethics, integrity, respectfulness, and compassion for others. They have played a big role in him becoming the fine young man he is today, and we are blessed to have found them in his early years. I can't speak highly enough of their staff. I recommend this school to anyone who has children, and wants to set them up for success

Provided by YP.comI am a longtime Pak's Karate student and instructor. I feel strongly that the Pak's in Brunswick is one of the best places you can have your child train, or even go and train yourself.

Provided by YP.comAs the owner of Pak's Karate I am very disappointed that someone may be displeased with our service. I will within reason do my best to fix any problems that one may have. We have several different options upon enrolling and we go through a very extensive enrollment process so that the potential student knows exactly what is expected in terms of class attendance and tuition payments. We have programs ranging from 3 months to 2 years. The longer you enroll the lower the tuition. It is made very clear that tuition is due regardless of attendance and that the program is not cancelable unless you move from the area. We will work with students who may be going through financial problems or rough spots so that they may continue their training and it is our school policy to credit students for classes that were paid for but not attended. I and all of my staff work diligently to resolve any problem that a student may have so that they will be able to continue the training that they began and fulfill the commitment that they made.

Provided by YPmobileMy daughter has been a student odd Pak's for 5 years. We have spent a great deal of time with all of the instructors. I can honestly day without a doubt that the other reviewer obviously changed his or her mind and is outraged that they tried to hold him or her to their contract. Pak's is not a fly by night martial arts center that you can come and go as you please. It us a school and requires determination and persistence as well as tuition and contracts. In 5 years I have not seen any wrong doings by staff, only by parents. Please, go by there and meet the staff before you make any decisions.

Provided by YPmobileDO NOT GO HERE! I attended for 2 miserable sessions. During one of them, a bunch of class time was taken by this teenager flipping out and cursing out the entire place and then being disciplined. It is like Romper Room! Then, a parent came in irate because (and I saw this) one of the masters STEPPED ON their child while the young kid was doing push ups. So, obviously…I tried to quit. This place kept taking my money! I had to close my bank account to get them to stop. It was a total nightmare.
