A friend had recommended Ed's roofing when I needed a new roof. The elder Ed is no longer doing roofs, but his son has taken over the business. He arrived in a small pickup truck to do the bid. He went up on the roof, inspected, and found some rotted sheathing underneath some shingles. He went back to his truck and within 15 minutes came back with a detailed bid. After the job was done I could not tell anyone had been working here. The yard was spotless. He also added some roof vents to prevent moisture from accumulating in the corner where the rotting was. As a side note, I got several bids. One prominent advertiser showed up in a big, late-model, diesel pickup truck truck. I didn't hear from him for a week, and then his bid was $4,000 higher than Ed's. I guess it costs a lot to feed that truck.

I gave Ed's Economy Roofing a 5 star because they were a pleasure to work with.

The estimate was clear with no hidden cost. The work was done on time and under budget. Basically they treated my property like their own: excellent work and cleanup.
