DO NOT RENT from finders keepers. I am thinking about suing them. They are unorganized and do not with each other. Nor do take responsibility for their mistakes. 2 different agents told me to pay 2 different amounts and when i complained about it they served me with a notice to vacate. Extremely rude and did not apologize and did not attempt to fix the issue. This office is unprofessional. They all wear shorts and random animals walk around inside the office

Do not ever rent from these people. They are by far the most rude and incompetent people I have ever encountered. They intentionally try to screw over their tenants. I do not understand how they are still a legitimate business. DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THEM. I have heard countless horror stories and my own experience was a nightmare.

I am not writing as a rating for our company but in my own defense. We agents dread showing occupied properties for various reasons (unsecured pets, bad housekeeping practices, the simple awkwardness of walking through someones home, etc.)The accusations about me and Finders Keepers written in the review date dated 03/13/2013 by love.mellie.5 add yet another reason to .The company who manages her home made three seperate calls for appointments. The 1st time we were told to wait until the following day so they could contain their dogs.2nd time given the go for 1:30 PM Fri. 15th.The 4 TAMU students interested in the house actually arrived a few minutes before me. The female tenant of the house told them not to stand in her yard, that they had let her dog out, and were not going to see the house. I arrived, they explained what happened,& I went to the door to see if we could resolve the problem. When she answered the door I assured her the appointment was made by her landlord with her husband over the phone. She was agitated & very verbally aggressive.Telling me we were not viewing the house & to leave.I emphasized I would have NEVER come w/o an appointment as I don't have key access. She commented more about incompetence and rude behavior.I knew we were not going to view the house so I left the porch to talk to the students who were there for the entire encounter. When her husband complained to my broker, he stated how"he confronted me in the front yard, told us to leave and that I was extremely rude, and we could NOT see the house" -Not one of the five of us EVER spoke to or saw a man while at the location. And for more contradiction, his wife writes here about the meeting being between herself and me.????? I am so thankful I have four Aggie students as witness to what really happened.

Without a doubt the most awful experience I've ever had. My roommate and I loved the house we rented through them but we were ELATED when we got to move out at the end of our lease. Finders Keepers is horrible and no matter how awesome the house was, it was by no means worth putting up with these people. I know it's been said before but DO NOT rent from these people. You will regret it.

Is there a zero star rating?! ...

Is there a zero star rating?! Please do not rent from this company! See my Yelp review for more details http://www.yelp.com/biz/finders-keepers-bryan, but in short this leasing company will be extremely helpful right up until the moment when you sign your lease. Then you can say buh-bye to your customer service and your deposit! They are understaffed, and the people that do work there obviously have no communication skills, organizational skills, or any other skills for that matter. None of them have a clue what is going on most of the time and even if you finally do get an answer from someone when you call weeks later to find out why it didn't happen they will just say "Well did you have that in writing?". If you have already rented from them take pictures and videos of your property and have them sign off on them and always keep all communications with them in writing. The people are thieves and they prey on low-income families and students that can't afford to sue their sorry butts for stealing deposits. We had a terrible experience, and I have talked to numerous other classmates of mine that have also lost thousands of dollars in deposits renting from these people. Read all their reviews online! Sorry, but you don't get that many bad reviews and no good ones unless something is seriously wrong! I'm not usually one to get on a website and bash a company because I usually understand that everyone has a bad day and mistakes happen- but I sincerely hope no one else ever has to go through what we have had to go through with this compnay

Worst property management I ha...

Worst property management I have ever dealt with. They give you a time frame of when they will call you back, it never happens. Maintenance requests are a nightmare. Since all maintenance request have to be submitted online through their website there is no way of you being able to keep track of what you have sent. They can just say they never received it. We actually had to get a lawyer involved because they wouldn't come fix a mold problem. Even after getting the lawyer involved, it still took them longer to finish the job than what they ahd said and there was no compensation of any kind. I have never felt more disrespected in my life. Amy Tatum, the office manager, has no idea of what customer service is. There is no going the extra mile for anybody. I have too many other problems with this place than I can list. All I can say is don't rent from them. Not worth the headache.

If only I could go lower than one star

I have been renting property from Finders Keepers for over 4 years now and at the end of our lease, we will be moving. Oh, where to begin? Poor response time on repairs. They actually charged ME to repair a garbage disposal once. Two months ago, our a/c went out, it took them 1 1/2 weeks to fix it. It is broken again and they are trying to blame us. When I got married and added my husband to the lease, he took time off of work to go in and fill out paper work. The person helping us was in such a hurry that she didn't make copies of my husband's drivers license. Then she called every day demanding that my husband come in and give it to her like it was his fault. I could go on and on.

Worst Property Mgr in BCS

Finder's Keepers was the worst property management company I have ever dealt with in Bryan/College Station. The staff is not friendly or professional. When you move out they will charge you for a ton of upgrades they want to make on your apartment, things you did not break- and take the money out of your deposit. Even if you take great care of your place and leave it in same/better shape when you move out, plan on getting only about 20% of your deposit back. Plus, when you try to get answers about the money they wrongly took from poor college students, they take at least 3 weeks to a month to answer your questions, hoping you will not be as livid. The excuse they gave for not getting back so long is because they had a lot of complaints to go through and only one person was working on them. The fact that they had a lot to work on shows I was not the only person this happened to in one month period of move out dates. If you are thinking about renting with them- DON'T!!! There are plenty of other options out there. I have rented from 3 other companies in the area and none of them did this to me.
