This place is more like a prison. Before I even got out my car, I had a man run up to me (volunteer for planned parenthood), and say that I need to leave my purse in the car and searched my purse. I've been going to planned parenthood at various locations since I was a teen and this is the most horrible experience ever. I was goin in to get my IUD replaced and I have to be searched and harassed before I even get an opportunity to even say what I need done. I don't like the fact that they had a male representive come and ask me what I need. Im not comfortable with telling another man my female problems and I defiently don't like the fact that they searched my purse. I believe this is just ridiculous. I will be contacting the board of directors or whomever I have to to get this understood that I don't want to discuss what I need unless they are a health care professional. I don't need a damn volunteer telling me that I can't be seen today for various reasons that aren't even true. Im absolutely astonished that this is how this facility operates now. I remember being able to just walk in, check in, and waiting to be called. I feel like im at war in Iraq when I go to this place.
