I spent 2.5 days/3 nights as an in-patient, and am no better off than I was to start with. Went into E.R. for high blood pressure and chest pains and was admitted so they could run some tests. Was 1st told it would be 1 day's stay for 1 test, which turned into 2 days to run 1 test in 2 parts. Long story short: they left me laying in my room, only checking on me every 3-6 hours, and dragging out my stay by delaying the last half of that 1 test. I have no insurance, so I can't afford any playing around. I was even told by a floor nurse that they kind of forgot I was there.

Bottom line: I'll never go to St. Joseph Hospital again for any reason, despite living just blocks away. I will drive all the way across town to The College Station Medical Center for any hospital needs from now on.

Good hospital with nice caring people. Very good.
