Located in Buena Vista, Ga., Marion Middle School enrolls students in grades five through eight. It offers various academic courses, such as mathematics, arts, social studies, reading, science, Spanish, language arts, technology education, science, and physical and health education. The school also offers various athletic activities, such as football, softball, basketball, tennis, baseball, archery and cheerleading. Its media center has a large collection of fiction and nonfiction books, magazines, newspapers, electronic resources and other reference materials. Additionally, the school offers counseling, transportation, special education and food services. The middle school is a part of Marion County School System, which operates primary, middle and high schools.
