They pack a lot into those ships! I have been to other tours of retired military vessels and this is one of the best. Many rooms are open and contain exhibits while others are closed with clear windows allowing you a peek of what daily life was like for the sailors and Marines who served on those ships.



There are markings on the deck to help you navigate your tour. Follow that and you will not miss a thing. The submarine is a tight squeeze and you must lift your leg high to get through the doors. Don't forget to visit the exhibit in the building which includes original military uniform jackets for your to try on.
