The Century Grill restaurant is located in downtown Buffalo on the first floor of a 17,000-square-foot, two-story 100-year-old building. Century's outdoor marquees are used as the centerpiece for the restaurant's identity. The ambiance is relaxed and cozy with booths and pleasant background music. They serve traditional American cuisine with veal, steak, chicken and seafood entrées. Other menu items include sandwiches, hamburgers, wings and more.

If you have a family... Don't Go.

I have been to this place before, food was OK. I was in the area recently with a friend and my 4 year old son so I decided to go back... big mistake. I barely made it through the door when a bartender comes up to me and tells me to leave because my son is with me. Won't even seat me for dinner. The guy was a real jerk "Can't you see the sign?" says the forty year old man with earrings and sleeve tattoos. There was a sign at the door saying that no one under 18 is allowed to enter. The place was empty as a tomb at 7:00 PM on a Friday, this place is a joke that is only interested in serving drinkers. I will never make this same mistake again.

Although it's been quite awhile since this review was posted, we wanted to let you know that the Century Grill is under new ownership as of August 2011. We are continuously evolving our bar selections, improving our food, and do welcome children. It is still the bar and grill atmosphere it has always been, but with an all are welcome atmosphere. Give us another try if you are in the area again. All the best. Mike and Kelly Simpson
