Operational for more than 30 years, CHC Learning Center is a center for handicapped children that serve students with multiple disabilities and their families. The center provides educational and therapeutic programs for preschool and school age children. Additionally, it offers occupational, speech and language and physical therapies to students. CHC Learning Center in addition offers a home-based program that includes providing services in the home for infants and young children unable to attend the center based program. The center provides augmentative communication devices for individuals who are non-verbal. It also offers a community transition program for school age students that includes enhancing learning and skill reinforcement opportunities within the community. CHC Learning Center is headquartered in Buffalo and serves children in more than 23 school districts throughout Erie and Niagara counties in New York.
