The staff at Continental Hertel Ave, Buffalo has done work on my car and my granddaughter's car.
They did excellent work, very timely and at a reasonable price.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
I will confidently take our cars back to them for any needs.

Briefly, my car's manual clutch had to be replaced. I called around to some automatic transmission repair shops and asked mechanics at those businesses who they would go to if they had a manual transmission, and Continental Transmission came up over and over again. I called the shop in North Buffalo and was dealt with in a way that conveyed pure professionalism. I had the car towed to the shop, they examined it, and called me back to explain what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. I gave the go ahead, and two days later it was fixed along with replacing two axle half shafts. When I came to pick up the car, it was ready, and when I drove off it ran perfectly. I have zero complaints and lots of thanks for work done thoroughly and well.

great business, i had a issue with my vehicle, I called Paul on a Thursday, he had me bring it right in, on Friday, Paul called me and told me what was wrong with it. the total cost was much more than I expected, but considering what was wrong with it, the price was extremely reasonable. I did not have the money to get it fixed at the time, I told Paul give me a day and I will let him Know. On Saturday I called Paul and told him I would have to wait a week to get fixed, and I would have to find a way to pick up vehicle, He offered to tow it back to my house for free i agreed. ten minutes later he called me back and said they have a program that i could finance the cost of vehicle pay nothing now, and if approve pay nothing for 12 months, i was so grateful, he took some information, i was approved and he despite it already being late in the day had my car fixed before end of day. Paul and Gregg knew how much i needed this car and understood my financial situation being out of work due to the Covid 19, and they was very helpful. great place to take your car, very professional and great customer service. Quick and courteous service. My truck was fixed the same day (a Saturday) I called and brought it in. I was referred by a friend in the automotive field and Kevin made sure I was taken care of. My truck drives like new again! I thought I was going to pay an arm and a leg for the repairs but was pleasantly surprised on how low it was. It would have cost me at least double what I paid at other shops. Go see Kevin at Continental Transmission. They’ll take care of you.

Horrible customer service had work done on my transmission and they some how has the car back in the shop for the same reason dropped the car back off haven't heard from them in days 1700.00 dollars later full of lies and run arounds

Would give them zero stars. Yesterday they worked on my escape was running perfect. Come time to go to work at 11pm the transmission fails again. Now I can't wait to hear the bullshit. They must have a 40 M
Mile radius that's as good as their work. This is the second day. Now it's effecting my income. Had to dish out $150 for the tow to your shop IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. like do you people even test drive it. Or just around the block of your business. Today I will be calling the BBB, I have all my receipts. I will share this on every social media site. Probably call Al Vaughters. I paid almost $1900.00 and this is what happens. Thank alot. Thanks for NOTHING. NOTHING BUT LOST WAGES AND STRESS. They don't even explain to what's the problem, or what the plan is. Customer service sucks and clearly so does the mechanics service.

I am extremely satisfied after working with Continental Transmission- these guys are legit! My transmission stopped working unexpectedly, and I needed repairs ASAP. I don't know a lot about cars so it was a little intimidating trying to find someone I could trust, but thankfully my friend referred me to Greg. They were able to explain the issue and quickly fix it while giving me an awesome price. I'd absolutely recommend doing business with these guys.

Another of my rare recommendations of a buffalo business. Not because there arent good ones, but I give reviews based on going the extra mile and exceptional personal service. Continental transmission on hertel. My tranny died and I knew it was gonna cost me. I called them and they said they would tow it to the shop, check it out, and tow it back if I didnt want the repairs. Already a great start....full repair replace. 1 day! I got a call the next damn day. Just for a point of reference when I replaced my engine else where it took 4 MONTHES! Continental transmission exceeded my expectations. At the end of process the repair the dude was super nice and professional and said bring it back 2 weeks to follow up. Brought it back today. Was hearing a noise I thought may have been between the half shaft and the tranny. Turns out it was a bushing unrelated to the work they did that they just happened to have and replaced....for FREE! I know the parts cheap but wow. Asked the dude how much and he said dont worry about it. Are you kidding? They still make places like this that give great customer service and results. Kudos guys, hopefully I dont have to get a new tranny ever again, but if I do im going there.
