Provided by YP.comDe George installed a slider door, window, patio steps and rails. Although they say they service what they sell, don't count on it! I needed the slider door repaired. The agent on the phone said the service tech, Scott, would call me. He never did. They are not very accommodating or friendly in person or on the phone.

Provided by YP.comWe had all our windows, front and back doors replaced by DeGeorge. The front door was beautiful when installed, but after 2 summers the molding around the door windows became warped and mis-shaped and the door itself became so sun washed out that it looked nothing like the maple color it was originally. I called, they sent someone out saying it wasn't their fault, I wrote to the door company and they said that it was due to "extreme" heat and they wouldn't correct the matter. We spent thousands on this door and now are stuck with an ugly, mis-shaped door. Shouldn't a door be tested in the "extreme" heat before selling? What good is a door if it can't withstand Buffalo summers?
The plastic trim pieces around the glass on any steel or fiberglass doors can distort, discolor or crack if they are painted or stained a darker color and are exposed to direct sun or a great deal of natural light. This is especially true when a storm door is used and almost a certainty if the screen is not used in the storm door. The plastic trim pieces can be replaced but they would need to be painted or stained a soft pastel color. Contact me and we can discuss what options are available.
