This place looks a bit intimidating to the homeowner, given the number of commercial vehicles filling their lot and the numerous out-buildings. However, the staff is very friendly and helpful when they're not overwhelmed with commercial customers, which seems to be early in the morning for the most part. The selection and quality of the lumber is unmatched in the local area. I had some special molding milled for a reasonable cost within 2 days and the results were perfect. For building materials and lumber, forget Home Depot and Lowes. Much better quality, selection and prices at Niemiec and a lot more fun too.
