I would like to respond to the negative comments about the small communion party. First, Ray's accommodated your group when you found out that the other restaurant you booked the communion party at closed unexpectedly. Second, you were scheduled on a contract that you signed to be served at 1:00 and that is when we served your dinner. As far as some other guest from another party drinking your pop, I addressed the issue to them and they offered to pay for a pitcher in which you refused. Our mashed potatoes are 100% real and every person ate and did not complain. Yes the waitress did drop the bowl of corn but was extremely sorry and went into the kitchen to refill another serving. There were a few people entering the room when the waitress was removing salad plates but the entire room was completely set. Under no circumstances would we charge you for a refill of bread or for any refills. Lastly, your guest count was quite a few below your final count of 30 people and we packed you a courtesy package to take home. I am extremely sorry for you not being satisfied with our service and our food ! I do think that most of your complaints were addressed and we strived to accommodate you to the best of our ability.

I have to say this is the best homemade polish food I ever had!! The price was reasonable and staff was very friendly. You can tell it is family owned and operated by the comfort you feel when you walk in. Great hall for a party!!

Ray's on Clinton near S. Ogden in Keisertown. The potato pancakes were very good and so was the sauerkraut. But the potato pancakes were too few on the steam table - so I only got one - about 3" in diameter. Still, it was good. But the pork chops were soggy. Like chops covered in bread pudding. And the pierogies were way too few - like the potato pancakes. Maybe 100 people at this place. In the hour we were there they brought out 2 (very small) pans, each with like 8-10 in it. People were complaining. Waitress never stopped back to see how things were. We had to flag her down each time we needed her. And my Sam Adams was like a 1/2 filled pint with a 3" head. Bill for the 4 of us was $72 total, so was cheap. We won't go back.

I was recently at Ray's Lounge & Catering for a funeral breakfast, and it was a very pleasant experience. The food was excellent; homemade cooking just like Grandma's. The staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommended Ray's. A good value for your dollar.
