It's no wonder they are contemplating closing this post office. The workers, especially the women, are the rudest most inconsiderate group of people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have on more than one occasion seen these women not only drop my packages but toss them in to the bin like they were last week's garbage and I send/sell vintage jewelry which is very fragile and expensive. . Needless to say, I no longer utilize the services at the Lackawanna post office and drive a little bit out of my way to go to the South Buffalo office but at least I am treated with respect there and my packages are handled with care. Oh, and for those of you who may feel as if this is a sexist review, it is not, I am a woman also and I also know that the possible closing of the L.P.O. has to do with Lackawanna's and the post office financial crisis and not the rude and incompetent workers Lackawanna employs. .
